News2 Ft Drumm Long Range Surveilance Team


	A National Guard unit recently ordered our M14 Rifle Parts in anticipation of their November deployment to Iraq. We began shipping the order in September and spent a day with the troops helping them install the Steel Scope Mounts on their M14's. On September 22nd, Mike Sadlak (center left) and Brad Palmer, Coach of the Connecticut Junior High Power Shooting Team (center right) were the guests of the detachment pictured above. These ten volunteer surveillance teams of two consist of Airborne, Ranger Qualified, and Sniper Qualified soldiers who received the accurized M14 with the Steel Scope Mount, Spring Guide, and TiN coated Piston. The 600 mile round trip was all worthwhile when the Captain expressed his gratitude to Mike for his personal assistance during installation. We are very proud to have the opportunity to assist our armed forces and we want to thank everyone for their warm welcome and more important, their service to our country. Brad recently retired from the Army Reserve after 38 years of service. He assisted in mounting the scopes and as an expert M14 shooter, was able to offer the troops some pointers.
